Common Thermador Problems
A burner that clicks with the knob off is usually a worn potentiometer on the XLO simmer burners - the left pair on most rangetops - or the spark module itself. We isolate the culprit circuit by circuit, because cracked igniter ceramic after a deep cleaning shows the exact same symptom.
The most common Thermador oven code. The cooling fan isn't reaching speed, and since the speed sensor is built into the motor, the fan changes as one assembly. Some models hide a second fan and an air-flow switch behind the back panel, so we pull the unit and test everything before replacing anything.
EA110 and EA120 mean the ice maker failed its self-test - and half the time the real cause is a small magnet that falls off the freezer drawer, not the ice maker itself. Frozen water lines and filters that weren't clicked in all the way cause most of the rest.
Frost on the back wall or an evaporator fan blocked by ice points to the defrost system: the heaters, the thermistor, or the sensor taped to the cover that stops reading below zero. When a unit re-freezes every two or three weeks after other companies serviced it, we pressure-test for a slow evaporator leak before replacing parts twice.

Star burner nuts seize onto their orifice holders and no standard socket fits them. We come with the right approach and tell you upfront: about half of stuck holders end up cut and replaced, so the price is agreed before we touch it, not after.
Double ovens carry two control boards that only work as a matched pair with one software set. Replacing just one is why other shops end up coming back twice - we order the pair.
Refrigerator boards must arrive programmed for your exact model - a blank one just beeps twice and sits there. We check the FD serial and index before ordering, and we know which Bosch part numbers are the same part for a fraction of the Thermador price.
The compressor bay on built-in columns doesn't slide out the way a Sub-Zero does - the whole unit comes out of the niche, doors unloaded first. We bring the gear and the second tech, and your countertops stay intact.
