Common Bosch Problems
Standing water or an E24/E25 code almost always traces to the drain pump or a loose pump cover, not the whole machine. We pull the pump, clear the sump and filter, and run a full cycle before we call it fixed.
On Bosch condenser dryers, water on the floor with a DR code usually means the drain pump is dead or clogged and the sump is full of sludge. We replace the pump, flush the sump and hose, and clean the moisture sensor.
A dirty moisture sensor makes a Bosch dryer cut the cycle short, sometimes a few minutes in, and leave laundry damp. We clean the sensor and bring back full cycles.
After about 10 years the motor brushes wear out, the drum stops turning, and you get an error. The rest of the washer is usually solid, so we replace the motor and keep it running.
